Itison Deal: Anchor Line – Glasgow

Itison Deal for Anchor Line in Glasgow. Is it worth the money? We will see.

Normally with vouchers I’m always wary as to whether it is really a good deal or not. Like, when you hear companies at Black Friday say they have lowered the price for a deal but the offer hasn’t really been as good compared to other times.

We came across an Itison deal for Anchor Line in Glasgow, St Vincent Street, beside Buchannan Street. This deal was for a 4 course meal for 2 people and a cocktail each. Now, upon reading this it sounds like a great deal. I will show you some of the examples of what you get from the 4 course meal at Anchor Line.

Anchor Line Deal

Itison Deal: Anchor Line Glasgow

Anchor Line is situated round the corner from Queen Street train station, just past Weatherspoons pub on the corner (Counting House) and across from the popular Spanish restaurant – Café Andaluz. The location is perfect for Anchor Line. When you get inside Anchor Line, there is an old feel to it but with a modern look, and a somewhat feel like you have entered the upper class section of a luxury cruise ship.

Anchor Line Bar

On the way passed the bar sits a piano, which was vacant when we where being seated. When passing to the restroom a pianist was playing music which was played through speakers around the restaurant, giving the mood a very ambient, homely and relaxing feel.

The Voucher Deal

Seated:

We where seated at the table which I most wanted to sit, as doing this review, I didn’t want people feeling uncomfortable with me taking pictures and videos of our food. The waitress had taken our jackets, which I never really feel comfortable doing in other places, but felt ok to hand over my jacket in Anchor Line.

Conclusion

Deal

The Itison Deal at Anchor Line Glasgow was certainly a great value for money. The rough cost of the 4 course meal without the voucher deal worked out to be somewhere over £40 each person. And with the Itison voucher deal being £59 for 2 people, that certainly works out to be a great savings of over £10 per person.
